Interestingly, I was at a Carl Hiaasen booksigning last week. he was approached by 2 people to sign their eBooks. He was taken aback and said he'd never done this, but happily signed the versa of the eBooks with a silver sharpie presented by the owners.
It makes sense I suppose, and there's plenty of room for other authors.
